Water Conditions

​Great dive report today 83-80 top to bottom. Viz is the best I have seen in years. Following the line out to the king air I could see the entire first platform. Instructors lead by example stay 5-6’ off the bottom and hopefully your students will as well. Had 20+ feet of viz on the pt boat could see the wall from the chris craft someone broke off Jason arm again. Please remember look but don’t touch!! Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.​​​​​​​​

Blue Stone Dive Resort's skilled and experienced Instructors can get you ready.  We are an SDI/TDI/ERDI Instructor Facility offering Open-water certification and Advanced Continued Education Courses.  Let us help you prepare to enjoy an adventure like no other. We're outfitted to help you make a splash. Blue Stone Dive Resort is a former slate quarry; the lake occupies 19.5 acres of the 305-acre property. The property was purchased by the late Robert Outlaw in 1994 and is now owned by his wife Janet Hill Outlaw. The was named for the blue slate found in the quarry. In addition to numerous man man-made attractions, you will see many fish water fish, such as, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Paddlefish, Japanese Koi and in late summer nonstinging freshwater jelly fish. We offer complete rental and provide guests with lodging accommodations and indoor bathrooms with hot showers. Blue Stone also has paddle boards for rent. So come spend the day with us!

Off season diving is available with a minimum of 5 or more divers.
